Description:
In order to provide high quality child care, we want to keep the children in our care safe. This includes the infants and their sleeping environment that we provide. This professional development training session will share ways that as child care professionals, we can reduce the risk of SIDS or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome from occurring in our child care programs. Also, writing safe sleep policies, emergency procedures and what to expect in the event of a death of a child while in your child care program will be covered. (Required for Child Care Home Licensing and for LLEP Home Programs that are looking to accept the CCDF Voucher)
