Assessing children's development is an essential part of quality child care. You need to know what they are learning (and not learning) and how they are progressing in order to plan activities for children and prepare them for school. In this session, we will discuss how to assess children in authentic ways so you know what they've learned without having to do any formal testing. Location: St Joseph County Presenter: Jennifer Taylor Remember: - You must register for training at least 2 business days before the training - You should arrive at least 15 minutes early - The training will be cancelled if less than 4 people register - Children may NOT attend - Bilingual support is avaialble for Spanish speakers.
