In order to provide high quality child care, we must keep children safe. This includes infants and the sleeping environment we provide. This professional development training session will share ways that as child care professionals, we can reduce the risk of SIDS from occurring in our child care programs. Also, writing safe sleep policies, emergency procedures, and what to expect in the event of a death of a child in your care will be covered. This training is required for Child Care Home Licensing and for LLEP Home progrrams wanting to accept the CCDF Voucher.
